| November | Orientations held at high schools to explain vocational-technical education to 10th graders. |
| December | 10th graders visit the Career Centers for "hands-on" experience in vocational-technical programs. |
| February | Students begin the application process to attend a Career Center for 11th and 12th grade with their guidance counselor. |
| March | Students receive acceptance letters and are invited back for a second visit to the Career Center in the vocational-technical program of their choice. |
