Connections is a one-year program for students 15 years of age and “at risk.” The primary goal of the program is to help students get on the right path toward graduation. Academic classes are included with lab activities to meet the necessary credit requirements. Lab activities include drafting, basic woodworking, electrical wiring, welding, carpentry, and more. It is the hope that students will remain interested in school through this nontraditional educational setting; and by participating in lab activities, spark an interest in one of the many programs offered at the Career Center. Placement of a student in this program will be determined by the Guidance Department.
