The Machine Trades class at the Belmont Career Center recently conducted a school fundraiser as part of a community service project to help disabled veterans become "enabled."
The students raised $650 to go toward the Leek Project to purchase an "action track" wheelchair. The wheelchair enables disabled veterans to take part in a hunting trip to the Leek Hunting and Mountain Preserve in Pennsylvania.
