Students Headed to SkillsUSA Regional Competition

This group of students from the Belmont Career Center will be competing in the Ohio Southeast Regional SkillsUSA contest this Saturday at the Tri-County JVS in Nelsonville. SkillsUSA is a national organization serving teachers and high school and college students who are preparing for careers in technical, skilled, service and health occupations.

Top three places in each category will advance to the Ohio State SkillsUSA competition to be held at the Greater Columbus Convention Center on April 14-15. Debbie Hawthorne serves as Ohio SkillsUSA advisor for the Career Centers.
