Students Build Dog Houses for Animal Shelter

The Connections program at the Belmont Career Center recently completed a community service project for the Belmont County Animal Shelter. The class chose to build several dog houses to help the shelter take care of its ever-growing animal population. All the wood used for the houses was recycled from the school's Carpentry program.

Pictured with the houses are, from left, Mike Woodburn, Barnesville; Brandon Patterson, Bellaire; Nate Case, St. Clairsville; Randy McGilton, Bellaire; Brad Steadman, Barnesville; Jason Lanch, Bridgeport; Brandon McGlothlin, St. Clairsville; Tim Young, Bellaire; and TJ Showalter, Barnesville. Instructor is Ed Reese.
