Machine Trades Rewards Program
Three Machine Trades students from the Belmont Career Center have received their award in conjunction with the school's partnership with KJ Tooling. KJ Tooling created the rewards program this year to instill the value of attendance and grade point average to students who are nearing employment.
Pictured, from left, are Calob Carpenter, Union Local, student reward winner; Ken Mills, owner of KJ Tooling; Roger Lucas, Union Local, student reward winner; Bob Jackson, Machine Trades instructor at the Career Center; Robert Ortiz, Harrison Central, student reward winner; and Russell Blake, tooling technician for KJ Tooling.
KJ Tooling presented each student with a magnetic base and one-inch dial indicator.
