LUCAS' LAPS FOR KIDS
Belmont Career Center student, Lucas Pomaranski, organized a 5K non-competitive walk to benefit Shriner's Hospital. Pomaranski, a junior in the Small Engine Technology program from Bridgeport High School, hosted the walk at the Belco Works track to show appreciation for all the care that he has received over the past nine years at the hospital.
Shriner's Hospital has never asked for anything in return for the services Lucas has received. He wanted to be able to give back to them through this walk so other families that are fortunate enough to pass through their doors can receive the same benefits.
