HCC Agricultural Mechanics Students Heading To State Finals
Two Harrison Career Center students are heading to the state competition of the Agricultural Power Diagnostics contest. The tandem of senior David Zatta of Jewett, and junior Greg Fogle of Cadiz, placed second in the District 8 competition at Ohio Ag in Millersburg on February 12.
Their district finish and overall state placement qualified the duo for the state competition at the University of Northwestern Ohio, in Lima, on March 2.
The contest consisted of two segments: an online diagnostics test and five real-life troubleshooting scenarios. Overall, the team finished ninth in the state in the online test with Zatta leading all of the 607 contestants in scoring.
