The Connections program is designed for ninth grade students, 14 years of age, who are interested in a more "hands-on" approach to education.
Students spend half the day in a lab setting learning various shop skills such as drafting, basic woodworking and carpentry. Students use the skills learned to work on a number of community service projects.
The primary goal of the program is to help students get on the "right path" toward graduation. Academic classes are included with lab activities to meet the necessary credit requirements.
