Career Center Students Advance to State Competition

This group of students from the Belmont Career Center, after placing at the regional competition, will be competing in the 63rd annual Ohio SkillsUSA state contest on April 14-15, at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. SkillsUSA is a national organization serving teachers and high school and college students who are preparing for careers in technical, skilled, service and health occupations.

First place winners at the state contest will advance to the National SkillsUSA competition in Louisville, Kentucky in June. Debbie Hawthorne serves as Ohio SkillsUSA advisor for the Career Centers.
